Contact and communication data: When you contact us by email or through our Discord server, we collect the information you choose to provide — such as your name, email address, Discord username, and the content of your messages.
Newsletter data: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address through our email provider (MailerLite). We use it only to send you the emails you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Usage and technical data: When you visit the website, our hosting and network providers automatically log technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. With your consent, we also collect anonymized analytics data, including aggregated demographic and cross-device insights via Google Signals (which you can turn off in your Google Ads Settings) — see our Cookie Policy for details.
Affiliate link data: Some of our content contains affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link, the third-party provider or its affiliate network may set a cookie or use a similar identifier to attribute any resulting purchase to our site, so that we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This tracking is carried out by the third party under its own privacy policy; we receive only aggregated commission reports and do not receive your name, email address, or payment details through it. Free AI demo data: If you try our AI assistant through a free demo on our Discord server, we process your Discord username and user ID and the content of the messages you send to the demo bot. To generate replies, these messages are sent to Anthropic (the provider of Claude) for processing. We use this information only to operate the demo, to manage fair-usage limits and the waiting queue, and to understand how it is used. Please do not send sensitive personal data or confidential information to the demo bot. Demo conversation data is kept only for a limited period and then deleted.
3. How We Use Your Data and Legal Basis
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
— To respond to your enquiries and communicate with you — legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) or, where applicable, steps taken at your request.
— To send newsletters, analyze website usage, and operate affiliate measurement — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.
— To provide and operate the free demo of our AI assistant — legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(a) / 6(1)(f)).
— To meet legal obligations and to keep our website secure — legal basis: legal obligation and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(c) / 6(1)(f)).
4. Service Providers We Share Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers needed to operate our website, each acting as a processor or independent controller:
— Hostinger — website hosting.
— Cloudflare — content delivery and security.
— Google Analytics (including Google Signals) — anonymized website analytics plus aggregated demographic and cross-device reporting (only with your consent).
— MailerLite — newsletter delivery (only if you subscribe).
— Affiliate networks and partners — purchase attribution for affiliate links (only when you click such a link), each under its own privacy policy.
— Discord — community communication and the free AI demo.
— Anthropic — the Claude AI platform used to process the messages you send to our free demo assistant.
5. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside the European Union, including in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EU, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent legal mechanism provided by the provider.
6. Data Retention
We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Communication and contact data are kept for as long as needed to respond to you, and newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Demo conversation data is kept only for a limited period and then deleted. Where we are required to retain certain records by German tax or commercial law, we keep them for the period required by that law.
